Quamen Cyphr Frame
« on: July 02, 2021, 09:29:11 PM »
Came across a cyphr frame for sale locally. Seller is asking $200? Didn't this particular model have a penchant for cracking near the bottom bracket? Frame has no cracks or damage. Is it worth the risk?

$200 is low risk. If you like the frame go for it.

Hello, I remember that some guys had them cracked in the bottom bracket area. I would say the design is not the best. But if you don't throw it I would assume it will last a while. Every frame cracks sooner or later.

200 is a good price ,You could always buy it and find someone to weld a gusset to connect the bb and downtube more .
