I hadn't thought of that thanks guys, I probably have 5 or 6 of those spindle washers/spacers lying around.


Actually, now that I think of it, the profile mid bottom bracket kit I bought originally came with the regular spacer plus a small 5mm spacer to add in the event your using it on a 73mm wide shell (its in the photo in the OP, sitting to the right of the main tube spacer). So this additional 5mm spacer is probably perfect for what I need, and I can tape it on the end of the deco spacer like mal suggested (this seems like a good idea, it'll hold the two spacers together nicely I think until both bearings are installed)
