Tips for hang 5 to whiplash? I see 2 methods 1 with there leg out and without?

From my observations it seems a lot of flatlanders bring there leg in by there top tube for multiple whiplashes?

But I see a lot of street riders pull there leg behind there back wheel to get it going? Is there any reasons for this is it a easier way to learn or more consistent to do?

Are there any tips it seems there’s no how to for this starting combo?

Do I have to angle my bars when in the hang five to get the whiplash to start?
Do you kick it with your thigh to start it?
Can you do a whiplash mid hangfive or do you gotta do it in the beginning?
