This looks really nice. Looks like they took their time and did it right. I love this kind of development. I go full autist on parts for months at a time. There are sides of BMX that only a geek can see..That said, I wish companies would do short runs of 3/8" axles for us. I don't mind slotting if I have to..I did it with a Federal freecoaster just to get an operational freecoaster on one of my rigs. Or even factory slotted for simplicity.
Hey Dimitri ,I just ordered a bsd hub /7ka rim to replace my Madera gulfcoaster and clutch v2 . I kept having issues with the madera hub skipping a tooth from time to time when the pawls do not fully engage .I loved how the hub felt besides the skipping and its seeming like the bsd will have the same solid feeling without the pawls not engaging properly .
Interesting take Timmer74.On a recent Alienation video I watched where they explain taking the hub apart, they keep on mentioning not to grease the internals because it could fail... I wonder if that has anything to do with the initial problems you had?
