1980s BMX where there flat only bikes? Or where they used for air and flat with the same geometry?


From the videos I’ve seen it kinda seems like they where using there bikes for both?


When they used to ride flat and have 2 quarter pipes on the sides?

it was only about FREESTYLE bitd, freestyle means doing tricks with your tool (here a bmx)

all the freestyle disciplines (and flatland is one of them) have been named since the beginning but everybody was aiming to do all of them at the begining with the same bike then, that's why there were frequently an overall ranking at the comps

just dig onto the website I gave to you on the other thread you created in order to know better about the bmx freestyle and flatland domains ;)
