The Mac1 is 1.70" (40 mm)

The Mac1.5 is 48mm, around 1.9"

the Mac2 is aprox. 2.3" and now they just released the Mac3 which is aprox. 2.4"

It's funny how the Mac1 is still the lightest flatland tire and it came out 15 years ago...

Ain't they supposed to be too easily punctured? I guess low weight comes with downsides... I use a MAC1 on the rear but that wheel is there for commuting basically...

I didn't have puncture problems with KHE tires. Tires from some batches just ruptured in the middle.
By the way: I agree that the are 40 mm wide, but this is more like 1.6".

I agree "... who gives a F..." in the end. But I wanted to mention it because when they came out many people said they would be like 1.75" and this is just not true. They are narrower. 4 cm = 1.57..." and I just measured the ones I have here (on different rims) and they are 4.3 cm = 1.69..." (I had 4 cm in my mind but it seems I was wrong). 1.75" = 4.445 cm so in the end it depends on how precise you want to be  ::) By the way:

It seems like KHE still has some.
I think the Rubena DOM tire is a good alternative. The width is also 4.3 cm and they feel similar and the weight is also pretty much the same. I do not know if this still works:

I still love that tyres and like I said as I cannot
find too many of them around anymore and the bmx shop in Clayton
use to carry the Mac 1's for me,but said they cannot get them anymore
as I would still ride them!

Mac1's are still available in some shops in Europe.

Did a quick search and found some in Minnesota - https://www.easyridersbikes.com/product/khe-mac1-flat-20-x-40mm-folding-tire-300590-1.htm

You have to be carefull when you buy that tire, there are 2 versions. The cheaper wire bead tire looks the same but it can't handle the high pressure. Riders have reported problems with that tire here before-

Always get the folding version.

Yeah I do get the folding  Mach 1 tyres when I could get them..but that is hard to find
them now!
outriding was talking about the Rubena, not the KHE.

When my front Frequency-G wears down I will be back on the market for new rubber but although the Mac1's are a temptation, they look so skinny I am afraid they won't last long enough... on the other hand my skills are so lame and the time I have to practice is so short that any tire will last me months =X

European stores are much more limited, Area, Odi and KHE are the best, most common options for flatland tires.

Yeah I meant Ares of course. Kunstform, the German shop, is the one with the most variety, they even categorize the tires by the discipline. These are the ones they carry for Flatland.

Looking at the list, as one can see, all the tires under the 400gr mark are more expensive than the Mac1 so I guess, all other things being equal, it is still one of the best tires out there for flatland.

PS: flatlandfuel is the obvious go-to store for flatland but in Europe the shipping values and worse, the customs troubles, make it too risky the order from there. Here in Portugal the customs will charge something just for the clearance and then +20% over the value that one payed for which they require a bill otherwise they extrapolate the value of the goods based on their findings...
