Hi, I'm Roy C.
I am 49 in years.
I've been riding since 1979. I never stopped, never lapsed, and I'm still maintaining the same handful of tricks.
I'm currently in the U.S., South of Heaven.

I had a Blue Max at my first few contests, but then I got a Haro Master:

I had a GT Pro Performer after that...

I currently ride a Heresy.

Hey everyone,

Name is Scott
Rapid City, South Dakota
28 yrs old
Brand New to flatland and been researching with the goal to build a budget bike to ride flatland. Loved that style of riding since I was a kid, and I wanted to have a bike I could ride with my 4 year old son around the neighborhood and on my own in my free time. Lucky enough to have an empty tennis court nearby too plus a job where I can ride at work in my downtime. Looking forward to having a bike soon!

Thanks for accepting me.
My name is Kristian Brown (Zig for short)
I am a 46 year old freestyle skateboarder.
I've always had an admiration for flatland BMX but have never actually tried it.
Duriing lockdown the family (possibly the whole world) went bike mad.
This led to me buying a 24inch SE for my 10year old a Subrosa 26inch for my 14year old and a 29inch GT Dyno for my self.  I have since swapped bikes with my eldest son because he is getting good at wheelies on the big bike.

Any way I am now going to build a flatland bike.
I have just ordered a BSD Alvx after lurking on another post in this forum.
I have a rough idea what to do to build the bike but might need to check back for advice from time to time.

Thanks khe killah

I plan on a slow build but I am very impatient so it'll be as quick as I can sneak parts past the wife and cash of course.

Looking forward to getting the frame soon.  When that arrives it's going to be difficult to hold back though...then I gotta learn some moves. 👍

Hey everybody!

My name is Justin and I live just outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I started riding in the early '90s but started progressing a lot faster on a skateboard, so I went with that up until the early 2000s. I picked up a bike again around 2005 and rode for a year or two before I graduated college. I ended up having to sell my bike and haven't touched one for the last 14 years or so. Now at 37 years old and two little kids (7 and 9) who are into riding, I've taken the leap again. I can't believe how much things have changed as far as parts and sizing. No more super narrow bars and stuff like that. Right now I am working on the basics.. the real BASICS like fork glides and dork wheelies. It feels great to be on two wheels again! I picked up an Ares APlus from FlatlandFuel and have swapped out the bars for some 9" Intrikats so far. I really like the bike. I used to have a KGB Psychonnecta and before that a DK Signal.
