Im introducing myself for a second time because last time it was a year or two ago and I got caught up in work and didnt get a bike. I finally got a flat bike now and began the long process of learning.
I've ridden BMX my whole life but never learned one flatland trick,  until now.

Hello i am

Name: Andy Luzano
Age: 26
Location: San Diego CA
Riding since: 2000
Bike: master

I'm new to tricks. I practiced on a 2011 opsis (not mine) for a week and the question hit me: Can I improve on tricks or do tricks any easier with another flatland bike? I'm concerned with rider and bike balance and i mainly want to do spinning tricks like megaspin. I'm 5'2" tall at 155 pounds. Any suggestions for a complete bike to purchase, i'll be choosing from flatlandfuel's selection of complete bikes.

Input would be great from any physique riders, but i would really like to hear from shorter riders :)

As you can see from my age i'm prob one of the more older members here.  Started riding back in the mid 80's when we had the same bike for everything.  I rode a Hutch Trickstar back then and lived on that until i was about 22 when i stopped riding altogether.  Back then i was mostly into flat and entered a few opens around the UK.  last few years i have been collecting o/s bikes but now really want to get back into riding and see how much of the old magic is still there!
I have a few questions on buying a complete but i'll find the right section for them..

Welcome Terry!

One thing you will notice is that you are actually probably right in the average age range here. I mention that for one reason. I think it helps the confidence to know your not an outlier. Many of us are in that same age range. Your one of us!

All things in life are temporary. If going well...enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong don’t worry, they can't last long either.

Hello there, Well not long ago bought my kids there first BMX which happens to be a Radio Valac Black. My kids are showing a growning interest in Flatland than anything else and this site seemed the right direction.
Me myself I used to race I had a Mongoose Super goose 3 back in the day, But I could do a Cherry Picker. Any how My kids are getting to grips with the bike and so far my son can do a bunny hop (not very high) and my daughter is trying to do a Dork Wheelie.

After having a quick go on the bike myself have relised this may be a (expensive) beginners bike as it quite heavy and on the rear.
