Not even close to the oldest. In fact I would be willing to bet you're the average age of people here. Welcome!

Welcome!

Best advice I can give: Stick with it, don't get discouraged and have fun. Oh yeah and find someone to ride with. Much more fun learning with somebody else.

Hey all, myself in a nutshell:

Name: Cam Stevens
Age: 33
Location: Canada
Riding since: 1990
Bike History: GT Vertigo > Morales Flatland, > KHE Premium Lagger > Ares Ashura > St. Martin Evo

First discovered Flatland at a bikeshow in Toronto and never looked back. I never became an amazing rider, but good enough... I just rode for fun. As I got older my riding time was replaced by work. After a few years of no riding I decided to buy myself a new bike and start all over. Flatland is always with us and hard to let go.

Cheers

hey guys,

Austin Dennis,
age: 26
From: DFW N. Texas area.

I've been riding bmx since I was a kid, raced a little, rode trails, but mostly street.  I am stoked to be getting into flatland.  I'm currently on an S&M black bike, but am in the market for more flatland friendly ride.

BMX bikes that I currently own: '96 S&M Dirtbike, '98 S&M Dirtbike, '05 S&M blackbike.

I really love S&M bikes so if anyone wants to sell or trade for a Sabbath I am definitely interested.

Hey GF,

Name: Goran
Age: 29
Location: London, UK -> Zagreb, Croatia
Riding (on&off) since: '96
Bike History: Haro Blammo (don't diss, was young & naive back then) -> Standard Tao

First got into flatland 'cos my uncle used to build BMX racer bikes for my cousins and my cousin show'd me some vids of some flatlanding and was like "wtf! is that even possible?!". Became a flat rider from then on in a predominantly street/dirt crew, but haven't ridden seriously for like 10 years and it's about time I got back into it with summer just hitting. Just need to get my bike fixed up in time.

Used to favour spots like London South Bank, Croydon and (my favourite) the local B&Q carpark!
