Name:Scott
Age:23
Location:CT, U.S.
Riding:Off and on from 13 on, getting more serious now though...
Bike:My street bike and my old haro I had been using for flat got stolen recently. But, whenever I rode I always enjoyed the feeling of flatland stuff, even the basics. So I'm waiting for the DK Opsis to come out and then going to use that to either do just flat or put some parts on my leftover street frame and have a hybrid setup...

I'm an old bmx rider who never lost my desire for the sport. Now I collect 20" bikes with my flatland collection being some of my nicest ones.  I want to get into flatland as I've always been hooked, now I just hope I can hang on.

Jason
30 years old
Nor'Cal

Been riding on and off flat for 8 years.....more steady the last year or so.  Putting a lot of effort into getting the scene back together here in Nor'Cal.  Riding BMX for a little more than 15 years that I can remember.

I love to do spastic tomahawks to pinkysqueaks or no-handed funkies.  Really getting it dialed in the last couple weeks now.
NOR-CAL FLATLAND.  !!WE Bicycles supporter!!

Riding since: 1987
Bike: Last bike was a Hoffman EP. Currently bikeless

I'm so happy to have found these forums. I didn't know such an active community of riders existed... rad!

Speaking of Rad, I started riding just after the movie
Rad BMX Small | Large
came out. I watched that movie over and over againBefore that I had been dirt-jumping an old Raleigh bike (the ones with the fake red gas tank and shocks... it weighed a ton). Then I found an old chrome kuwahara frame and started learning cherrypickers, decades, tailwhips, etc...

I spent the next ten years learning old school flat tricks until I injured my hips really bad one day messing around at the halfpipe. Since then I had a few flatland bikes but it hurt too much to ride so I settled for a career as a bike mechanic... I'm currently self-employed as a webmaster and photographer.

Anyways, I can't ever stop thinking about riding flat. Whenever I daydream it's always about riding flat on that dream bike. I've decided to build that dream bike and start riding again... these forums are just the inspiration I need. I'll be posting a wanted ad in the forums shortly... thanks so much!

Cheers
