hey chino!
what do you mean by core stems?
Ive never heard that term before,
I think you mean something like zero offset stems?
Anyway, you can always get the dragonfly Mike S bar/stem combo;
http://www.dragonfly.de/
Fishbone made a  straight up stem, there's one on e-bay right now;
other than that I dont know of any more.
GT had a prototype straight up stem on the prototype gt show back then but I think the production gt show came with a gt piston stem.
You have tons of other stems with short reach from 26mm and up from:
KHE, BIZHOUSE, BRICKHOUSE, KGB, QUAMEN, HARO, etc..
Hope this helps you.

hey mutt!
who can forget the original KORE flatland forks?
put those on a Morales frame with Kore pegs and TI bars and you got the perfect bike,
... 10 years ago anyway ... I always liked it.
I think CHASE used this setup - breakless
(today thats nothing new but back then EVERYONE used brakes)

---

Chino was talking about zero offset stems, I dont think Kore ever made any (?)

---

I was checking out the Kore web site and they got some cool parts especially the speed hoop rims and platform pedals.
I think if they came back into the flatland scene they could be sucessfull.

I've read somewhere that you have to have a fork with a "longer than most" steerer tube so that the stem can hold both things in place properly.

nahh remove a couple of spacers from the steerer tube should compensate.

altho some forks steerer tubes are different lengths as long as you haven't cut it down already it should be ok..
