Inspiration for Editors Pt. 1
« on: May 06, 2014, 07:43:46 PM »

As an editor myself, I always keep an eye out for little details that stand out and give inspiration and new ideas, visually. This video is a great example of the slow motion effect many of you may have seen, and wondered about. It's a re-edit that made great use of Twixtor to slow things down, with some mirroring effects at the end. The result is pretty cool. It's well executed, and personally I think it was very tastefully used. The video follows the music too, which is another thing to keep in mind when editing. Even though it's not flatland, it's pretty easy to see how the same ideas can be applied to other things. What do you think?

ANYTHING to avoid the cliche "waking up, going to my spot, this will take 5 minutes in a 6 minute edit"
