spline drive compatibility?
« on: November 13, 2012, 05:37:24 PM »
I am running ST> Martin spline drive cranks, and want to move to something under a 20t sprocket.

Is all spline drive sprockets compatible with these cranks?

It seems Tree spline sprockets are more of a universal fit though they will still fit on certain spindles tighter than others. I just got a Profile spline sprocket and they're not compatible with my KHE Erlconig cranks. The sprocket will go on a quarter of the way onto the spindle then stops. They can probably be forced on but will probably never come back off so be aware. I think your best choices are St. Martin and Tree spline sprockets. Profile spline sprockets are best left to Profile spindles.

Go with the Tree splined sprocket
