In the ATX crew...R-Dog(Ruben Castillo"This ain't segregation folks, this is freestyle"), Chadwick Davis, Gary First(55 years old and still rides dirt, street and flat), Cullen(rides flat, dirt, street..all on a 24 inch Cruiser), Hector Dangus(skateboards aswell), Brett and now that I have a Collier, I'll be riding everything again.

No one has mentioned them yet but the Melo brothers kill it on anything! I love watching them ride, there so original.

Arguments about "best ever" aside, I think any discussion about all-around freestyle riders should include my pal Bill Nitschke. I have a lot of respect for those who can ride everything; I can't.

Watch some old ECD videos... Jeff Crawn (Jersey represent)  before the terrible accident he had was one of the best all around riders.. Triple Decades, hand rails, trails, the smoothest mini ramp rider I have ever seen.

Jay Miron used to tear it up on flatland back in the mid 90s at Huntington Beach.

Kevin did a 540 IN ONE OF THOSE OLD DORKIN VIDEOS. Heard he learned backflips at Woodward a few years back.

is it really street to just do hangfives between transistions?

Excellent post jawn. Just goes to show you, flatland is fundamental bike control, and bike control translates into every single aspect of riding.

Brian Vowell!!
of course there are the plenty of others who've already been mentioned, but BV - he invented the 360 tailwhip, he does the craziest hang-5 park lines you'll ever see - and 10 years before all the new school kids started jumping on the hang-5 band wagon. all around complete shredder of every bmx discipline. i don't want to see this guy's legacy die. he is too incredible and far too unknown. he has a few amazing clips in baco 9 & 10... please check it out!
