« on: August 24, 2010, 02:55:50 AM »
just wonderin what everybodys onpinion is on this purchase. Primo cranks n alex rims. It costs $200.

Not everything is there, but its a flat frame right? I figure if i make more purchases aftrwords it should be for 1) pegs 2) freecoaster.

and this is what it looks like.

thanx for your opinions ;)

id say this is not intended to do flatland.

not to say that this bike can not do flatland - but it is more designed for riding all round I guess / street / ramp / skatepark / ext...

It's a GT Tour Or Tour 2, decent all around bike. you can do it all on that thing, but HEAVY AS HELL. other than that . how much? you could buy it cheap and sell it on Ebay..;D

I'd say pass man, and get something newer, lighter, and flatland-specific. (that frame is not flat specific) you may spend a bit more but what you get you'll want to keep awhile. most current riders would scrap almost every bit of that in favor of better, lighter parts, honestly. also, that seat looks seriously depressed  :P

If he buys that, parts it on Ebay, he'll make WAY more than $200 and can buy WHATEVER HE WANTS...

Yah, wow. Saw one frame on ebay, but it was only at 10.

Id like to buy and sell, but I have no feedback really. Forgot to mention it was a repaint.
And while iI think I'd be the flatland rider, all round ain't too bad. Keep the options open.
Would you guys suggest something else specifficly?

@ Carld, where can I get a complete for $200? All I know is the opsis, for 280 on ff plus the s/h to canada, which s in $300.

that's what i was thinking of, the opsis.   i was thinking that was cheaper?  sometimes they're on sale, like now for school or xmas. so you have to watch for that i guess.

if you get a freecoaster (good ones being nankai or khe) and pegs (most being 30 a set) thats easily around 200usd  or higher as well.

As stated DK is more or less the same price.

Also that thing looks heavy as bricks, but it's personal pref so upto you.

What is the TT on that?
