which stem ?
« on: May 27, 2007, 09:24:35 AM »
hi
you shouldn't know me, this is the first time i write something here.
i'm vincent, & i come from france.

i have a question, that's about stems.
actually i've got a suelo, however i would like to change . .

i don't manage to make a choice between the bizhouse dyaliser, the camacura macross, the khe minimalism and the magic fruits stunted.

waiting for your answers . .
ride on good vibes !

no don't choose the camacura macross, because manu from st martin for example told me, it turns and not stay in place if you see what i mean . .
and for khe that's sure it's light and nice but i fear about the solidity of such a light stem.

so i still hesitate.

im running the macross as well. Im having zero problems with mine.it is the newer model. same as the purple haze one on FF, but just plain blue lol. i cant remember if someone told me or if it was on paperwork with the stem, but it said to expect some minor slipping when it is new and to allow some "stretching" time to break in the stem. It slipped on me very very little, once, the first or second time i rode it...but has been fine ever since.

and for my part i don't want to buy it on Flatland Fuel 'cause from france it's very expensive. . that's why i'm gonna take a bizhouse to a friend who is solding it.
i will tell you what i thing about it then after having ride it.

The only thing they have in comun is that they dont use a stem.
Other than that they are completly diferente.

Hello, just to let people know I bought a Minimalism stem, had it for one week, the bars were slipping. Tightened bolts and the stem cracked and showed signs of other cracks forming. Other than that it great, buy it.
