im thinking about buying a new frame but my rear axle is bent and the bearings are cracked. if i do buy a new frame will the axle destroy the dropouts. i would buy new stuff for the axle but its old and i dont know anything about it. its poverty and it looks like the locash hubs they have except they are crome. thats pretty much all i know. but what i really care about is, can i keep the axle the way it is without damaging the dropouts on a new frame.

If you have a bent axle and your bearings are cracked, then your best bet would be get a whole new hub. From what you explained, your hub won't last long. It could mess up many more things in the future including a new frame.
