AWESOME! Wanna see wanna see!

I did a couple of okay fwd halfhikers saturday, but without the rideout. Decided to take two days off cuz I seem to improve sometimes when I do that, strangely. Plus sat I started doing some hang 5's for about 10ft. Pretty stoked on that since I put off practicing them for so long. They're just boring to practice when you can't even go a foot.

Can't wait till the end of the month to show some improvement on my hikers

Interesting. It also usually helps me to leave some gaps between sessions :)

That works for me as well. There are times I will not ride for 2 or 3 days and the trick I was working on is BETTER! It blows my mind but our bodies do need to rest. I just keep riding though every day I can. I only really take breakes when I have to..Rain..Sickness..Work. ooo and Sundays. I typically do not  ride on Sundays anymore. That has become family day.

Glad to see so much activity with Hitchhikers this month.

Keep on Riding!

Fooled around with getting into this trick for a while last night. It was very frustrating.  ;D

Darnit my camera didn't charge for some reason so I couldn't film anything, but I did one really decent halfhiker and almost rode out of it (rideouts harder than you'd think) Definitely made a little progress today but definitely need to make more. Thanks for the tips they really have helped.

Hang 5 got a lot better also, rode one about 50 ft and one I rode a complete 360  ;D
Having a bit of a hard time going straight right now but getting better at it.

Ya it does! I've been able to do backwards hang 5's for awhile now but for some reason backwards things don't interest me much, but forward stuff does.  Hang 5 is a thrill, especially when you hit that balance point right and stick it.  Slowly becoming a real flatlander :)

Really I feel like when I do a decent halfhiker roll it's more luck than anything lol, I just throw as many attempts at it as I can till I hit one right and roll it a bit. Seems like every time I hit that balance point right, I take a tiny baby step forward in progression... then I go ride the next day and it's like starting all over lol. Damn I hate that!

I fell hard once also.  I bet you can do it if you can roll a double footed steamroller well.  I mean I threw well over two hundred attempts at it I'm sure and those first 100 or so were like "Not happening!" but it was so much fun to try I just kept at it.

How were you riding in? I remember for me it happen like this. I had a dream that I could do it. The very next session it happen. I didn't roll it for MONTHS!!! But right after the dream I was able to do it.

Granted..I have had dreams of doing Time Machine and I am No where close to it.

I prefer the double footed steam but I feel best from Karl.
