Um... okay...
There are zero flatlanders and zero flatland spots in San Fran. In other words, nobody rides flatland in San Fran! ;D

Seriously tho, have you been living under a rock or something? Ever heard of Pete Brandt, or the Clocktower? No?

Remember, grammar is the difference between "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse", and "I helped my uncle jack off a horse".

I just started getting into flatland stuff about 3 days ago and suck so far, I blame my sh*tty bike and lack of practice.

sounds like it will be great fun to ride in sf..

clocktower is just 5 minutes aways from my working place, so i will hang around there after work. hope to find a room near there, too. btw: if anybody if you knows a shared flat where i can rent a room from 1st dec - 30 jan, let me know!

see you soon..

I live in Danville and have room but i am like 45 minutes from San Francisco
by Bart train and it costs $9.40 both ways each day but i wont be going back
to University until January 3rd.

i have two cats though so if your allergic to cats...forget it as they are long
hairs and shed alot.

There is an overhang basketball courts just 4 minutes from my house that
i ride in when it rains or at night and there is also other places to ride and there
is MYSELF, OSG, CHINEDU, KERRY GATT and ANDREW ARROYO who ride around
here plus maybe a few others in my area plus the rest of the other 22 flat
riders who ride at the clocktower every two or three weeks.

Get back to me as i dont know if your find any rooms unless you apply for
them and go through a background check as they are strict on room renting
sometimes here. The youth hostel is in the south of market area but It is not
in the greatest part of the city.

Yup, you want the Ferry building, end of Market street. You'll see a big clocktower on the Ferry Building. Everyone rides in the area between the north and south bound lanes of the Embarcadero.

yeah go to the ferry building
that where we ride at ...across the street
there in the island area...........

Everyone going to the Hollywood flat session this Saturday
so you wont see many of us there this weekend...both
days

But there is a session the next weekend at the Clocktower
on December 12th from 11am-dark(5:30pm)

There should be some 14-18 flat riders out there that weekend
at the clocktower.

We get together like every 2-3 weeks to have
an session at the clocktower and the next session
after this one is i think January 9th which is also a
Saturday. Same old 11am-dark riding session!
