Demolition - Medial LT 2.0 Cranks on KHE Equilibrium
« on: July 21, 2009, 08:02:56 AM »
I recently purchased a KHE Equilibrium frame, with Demolition cranks (3-piece), and a Tree bicycle co. sprocket. I can not seem to get this together, and will this even work for the KHE frame?

You'll need a 19mm Euro BB. A Euro BB has threaded cups. Any 19mm Euro BB will work with your frame and cranks.

Place an ample amount of anti-seize compound on the splined areas of your spindle and on the threads of your spindle fixing bolts before installation to prevent seizing!

Remember, grammar is the difference between "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse", and "I helped my uncle jack off a horse".

I just started getting into flatland stuff about 3 days ago and suck so far, I blame my sh*tty bike and lack of practice.

Also, should there be a lot of room in the crank area (on frame)

Your frame has a threaded bottom bracket shell, and a Euro BB has threaded cups. Got it? ;D

Makes since, a lot of since lol thank you.

I don't know about these cranks, I can't get the spindle and the right crank on more than a inch (probably less), and not sure this is right? Does not seem ok to me.  I can put the bolts in, but I don't know if this will work

first, get the correct bottom bracket before you ruin the threads on the frame, put a bit of grease on the arms and tighten. less than an inch is fine. the arms are meant to fit tightly.  it'll work, but you MUST HAVE the 19mm EURO bb cups with threads. there is no other option. what you have is either a mid or spanish bottom bracket-basically just a bearing. it will not work on that frame.   -_-
