Here's the info on the shore ride in a few weeks down at my place.

I'm having a little BBQ get together thing at my place from like 12 to 3 for guys who are trying to make stuff happen in NJ for BMX...any type of BMX. I've help run tracks to flat comps to BBQ's and ridden since '78, so if anyone is down to b.s. about some ideas they have to make things better for flat in NJ, it'd be cool to hear from you and see you here.

After that I'm gonna try to do a little ride from me and my gal's place here in Brick near Mantoloking Rd to Point Pleasant where we can have some dinner, ride some, and just generally mess about. (I was originally gonna go to Seaside, but since I am a local...going to Seaside suddenly did not make sense)
If anyone also messes about with a little jumping or what not, I have a small trail in my yard to futz around on. If you want to come out and just ride before the ride, there is a small skatepark about 4 blocks from my place with a huge flat area. (If anyone knows people in the Rec department in my area, I'd like to use that flat spot someday...)

So basically, it's a little event thing to get to see one another, laugh, meet me if you want to know who I actually am as a person and not some dude with a strange 3D chick doing a surfer on a wave avatar, LOL...
Oh, I'll also have a bunch of old NJ szines and stuff sitting about for people to look at from many years ago.

Brett,  u are actually closer than i thought.
when u said u lived near the skatepark in Brick, i thought u meant the one on route 88 near Herbertsville Rd. (just before that bridge that goes over Point Canal)
but instead ur over near Pasquales Pizza...is that place still there? used to have decent pie there.

if its not too over crowded, that one big parking lot off Arnold ave and Ocean ave in Pt Plsnt is pretty nice to flat on. dont think we can get off with ridin the boardwalk this time of year unless its up the north end of the boards where the houses are right on the boardwalk between the Aquarium/Jenkinsons and the Manasquan inlet.

however things work out, ill be there!

Dave, nah there is (as Budz can attest) a HUGE parking lot right next to the park in Brick, it's not just a little flat area. The police in my town as long as you are riding in the lot or the park don't really stress on you at al.

Yea man, right down the road from that little park. (fun for an old guy like me though, lol)

Come on down, I'm planning on just letting the day flow where ever it goes not make it all, like "gotta do this, do that, go here".

I've been learning a lot of new tricks and forcing myself to land them.

I've already told Brett, but I can't make it due to my boss not letting me take off and no one wanting to cover for me and because they don't want the one person who can cover for me working.
