that sucks!
It's poor construction.
Thin tubes, and a design that cant withstand the torsion on the headtube...
Thats what happens when they try to reduce weight.
what a bummer.


Eh, what irritates me.. is that I put a hairline crack on my OG Sinus (which is boarderline 5 lbs) on the bottom bracket... then gave it to someone else when I got another OG sinus.. and he continued to ride it without any problems for I think almost another year. I rode both of the Sinus's I had until they really couldn't be ridden any more and both of them held up 3 times as long as the Quamen did. I've been told "you don't know what the previous owner did to that bike!" but I know what the frame looked like when I got a hold of it and it was in pretty much new condition. It was just very very VERY poor design that caused that to happen.

Wow that quamen really looks messed up, Ive never cracked anything ever and Im not to kind to my bike when I have a bad day.
