TT lengths
« on: December 09, 2008, 11:43:16 AM »
I'm just wondering what the general opinion is on preferred tt lengths. Its not just for me, but is partly aimed at companies making frames to see if there is a majority vote - a popular size, or if its all over the place.  ;D

I put flatland riding only because thats my specific question. Those all around riders dabbling in park and street will usually always pick a longer tt.  Also, feel free to add more preferrences and why.  Cheers.

I have never ridden anything but a 20" and up...

Just got a shorter one, I will vote when I get it put together.

And likewise i'm like 6.1 and ride a 19.1

compared to other taller riders this is quite short - but i find it perfect and prefer it to my previous longer frames.

Im 5'6 I'm riding a 18.5 fbm right now..For ONLY flatland..18.5 I hit my knees, seats in the way,hit my feet on the pegs..But its really easy to manuever...-it's the smallest I'd ever go though!Thats like a hardcore flatland size..

I usually have 19 though, for the street ya know..

I'm 5'7 (176cm) and I rode an Uzi (19") and now a Gypo2 (18.75). Cant tell the difference since I don't remember the feeling of the Uzi but probabaly I wouldn't notice much difference.

Longer frames are probably more confortable, bike agility will definetly be reduced if your a short guy but.. dunno, there's nothing like trying...
