It's crazy how so many riders are throwing brakeless decades into their lines and hitting them without any sketchiness now. Love it...

Shintaro is riding like a madman. I think he chose this year to really blow up onto the scene. Japans making a comeback!

I don't really think Japan went anywhere.  Maybe they got a little bit less coverage because they realized traveling all the way to North America for the contests we have here (aside from Voodoo) aren't really worth it for them.  In my opinion, Japan's held some of the best flat riders at any time period.
