I have a similar problem but my stance is messed up as well.

Spin counter clockwise into trick.
Right foot, right peg.
Left hand, left grip.
When I spin, I spin clockwise.

I say dont worry about stuff like that, if  you do it will only hinder your learning... It helps you become more unique and causes you to become more creative, even if it is frustrating at times.

Wait, u have left foot on peg, right hand on right grip, and where is left hand? i think u have one or the other messed.  on a bw steam i have lft ft on lft peg and lft hand on left grip and right hand on seat.  or u could do vise versa

I have just the opposite of that  (right ft right peg, right hand right grip, left hand seat) so basically the same. Of most videos ive watched, it seems like people have their hands the other way...im confused, but i do not think hand placement matters, but the direction u spin makes a difference.

Well ur all cock backwards if u do have ur hand and foot on opposite sides.  u should have ft and hand on same side. do it and watch how much easier it is.

agreed. think about the concept of goofy vs. regular. but its even more complicated than that.
