This frame color is why I had to get the Ares this year.

I had that frame in hulk green. I destroyed it after years of abuse. the kind of abuse that will finish with any khe frame in a month.

actually the frame alone seems very ridable for todays flat.

it looks like a previous version of the og fu frame without the platform.

New parts
Need to figure out how to get my levers straight with the forks. Need a new gyro unit and upper cable too still.

The trick to using the gyro on those bars is to have the plate a 45º. It may not look as nice but the cables will flow smoothly instead of tightened up like you have. Try a double top cable also, its much better.

Nice bike dude!

I wonder how you could paint a bike frame like this. Anybody knows how to do this technique?

the trick to the mike s bars is drilling cable passes through the tubes.

You are a genius! I just might try and work that out..
That might let me get my levers in line with the bars and forks too!
That will be sick when I can reverse my bars and the levers are still down in the same place forward or back!

Thanks for the info as well "out~riding". I will probably try one of those double cables, and maybe even some M2 levers or something. I'm a big fan of brakes and I dig these bars so I will work something out sooner or later.

Thanks for the input guys. You have provided more ideas for me to work with.

Another paint trick to get similar effect is to base the frame black, let base dry, lay down another color and while paint is still 'wet' touch it with a crumpled up plastic bag. let dry, then clear.

If you are for real, you probably spend enough time on your bike that there's no time left for talking sh*t on message boards.

Of course, if all you do is talk sh*t on message boards, you're probably not as good or as cool as you think you are.
