need help with straight tube frames?
« on: June 12, 2008, 01:31:55 PM »
hello guys! i need ur help...

okay, here's the story.
i got a KGB psyconexion frame.
i had been riding it less than a year.
recently the frame got twist and it crack at the down tube.
the frame is in a critical condition now... helpless...
instead of repairing it... i think i should get myself a new frame..
and i'm not into cross of bend frame anymore.

right now i want to find a straight tube frame.
there's a few choices of straight tube frame out there.
and i'm confused which one suits me the best?
what i had in mind right now are :-
1) Sick Child Instrumental
2) Suelo Simple V3

and i'm 180cm tall... which top tube length is good for me?
somebody or anybody, help me please..  -_-
thanx  ;D

don't think there are to many people riding the v3. but the v2 gets good reviews, so the v3 should be good also. just a bit shorter and lower if i'm not mistaken.

I ride a v2, 18'8 top tube i think.  Really good bike.  Light but you know it will taking a panning.  I'm 5'8 and about 12.5 stone.

I was looking at getting a v3 just but $390.  The cheaper v2's look like a better option.

"SUELO, SUELO!!!"

LVSR is selling a V2 in the marketplace.  The frame is near flawless and was only riden a handful times.  You should really contact him.  As far as specs go, the V3 and the V2 are the same.  The V3 is just a tad lighter with thinner tubing.

Mandkind Alive is really an interesting frame.
i'll be considering that.  -_-

yeah guys! Suelo V2 is a good option too.
But i prefer Suelo V3 more than the V2.
the V3 lower seat tube is more sexier. hohohoho  ^_^
thanx for the idea guys.

owh yeah! does Suelo V3 rear triangle wobbles a lot??
the thin rear triangle tubing makes me worried.

it looks like sickchild instrumental is leading on my priority list now.
hee~  ;D

Two Aussies busted the rear stays of their suelo V2's from just flatland, so if the V3 has thinner tubing again, the answer to your question of will it wobble, is no. It wont wobble or break as long as you dont ride it.
