Title: Euro black widow crank

i hav some questoins....can i take out the thing the red arrow pointed at?? n put the ordinary sproket??

anyone hav pic on the other side of the crank?? pls post...

you cant take that off. Its attach to the crank arm. even though you cut it off, you still cant use a sprocket becuase there is not sprocket bolt on the arm it self.  so yeah, you cant take it off becuase its made together.

I don't have one but i've got an ideia that might solve your problem.
instead of removing the spider arms, just cut them off leaving only one of them. Next drill a hole in that arm at the sprocket hole height.
then all you need is to bolt it together with a bolt and nut.
I don't know, but it just might work.
check out the photo, but keep in mind i put that together in photoshop and the scales could be incorrect.
Tell me if it works.

well mutt,
the spider is attached to the arm and its for those 44 tooth sprocket rings,
he wants to put a regular small sprocket,
but the spider is unremovable,
and the arm has no hole to secure the sprocket,
so I came up with this ideia of using a part of the spider to secure the sprocket.
It  may not look to good but I think it can solve the problem.
what do you think?

bike mecanics and iventing isnt for everyone.
but what we got here is someone who has some cranks and cant use them.
so he might as well try something.
make something that aparently is useless into something usefull.
why buy new cranks when you can use ones that are laying on your shelf?
and its not all that dificult to do.

exactly outtie
but the cutting is a bit outlandish when you can
drill bolt holes and do it that way other than
making the metal more brittle and stressed by cutting it
and there is an better chance of metal stress and then bending
and then cracking etc....

you got to understand flatland puts alot of stress on metals
if it is frames, forks or whatever metal on the bike so think
about that one.
