Title: Your preferred gearing ratio - especially if doing pedaling tricks

I've read through old posts but curious to see what a more recent response looks like. What is your preferred gearing ratio? I am especially interested in what you prefer if you've ever spent time working on pedaling tricks like rear wheel blender (I think that's the name) or perhaps something like a pedaling death truck.


I'm really only used to either 24/9 or 25/9 but I'm thinking of going lower as I get more comfortable on my playing around with rear wheel pedal stuff. Not sure what to shoot for, was gonna try 23/9 but reading older posts I see some using like 18/9. Suggestions? Crank arm length is currently 165mm.
