Kick off for the outdoor season On March 15th and 16th, 2014, just before the outdoor season starts, a spectacular event rises in the TT-Hall in Assen: Zero Gravity Expo. This event combines competitions and demonstrations of adventure sports with an exhibition where the latest products in this field are presented. ZGE is the only event in the Netherlands where these activities come together in one location.

Action!

Zero Gravity Expo guarantees action. For example:
- Largest indoor wakeboard pool in Europe (100m x 25m) Largest indoor dirtline (BMX/MTB) in the Netherlands
- International athletes in worldclass competitions
- Lots of activities for visitors
- The products that you see in the competitions can be purchased directly at one of the exhibitors.
- Wakeboard, mountainbike, skate, bike-trial , BMX, flatland, longboard, slackline, BigAirBag and more!

Zero Gravity Expo is the meetingpoint in the Netherlands for everyone who is engaged in action sports.

Background
Adventure sports are popular. Hence TV shows like MTV Nitro Circus and Red Bull Crashed Ice. And there are trends: stand up paddle boarders surf the canals in Amsterdam, slackliners practice their acrobatic skills in the parks and longboarders occupy the paths. Add to this the fact that more and more of these sports are given an Olympic status - such as BMX in 2008 - and come to the conclusion that there is an undeniable growth of populairity.

In the midst of this development, in March 2013, a unique event took place for the first time: Zero Gravity Expo. This first edition had nearly two thousand visitors, twenty exhibitors , hundreds of athletes in six disciplines and tens of thousands of hits on social media like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The combination of different adventure sports was so unique and striking that the event got a lot of media attention. To get an impression of ZGE 2013, go to www.zerogravityexpo.nl

The action takes place in the form of competitions with international participants and demonstrations. Visitors will be blown away by the action that they see, but they can also get to work on boards and bikes themselves.
