Post by: sickchildbikes on February 28, 2011, 09:33:42 PM
Check out www.sickchildbikes.com (http://www.sickchildbikes.com) for some info.

Relapse bars available for pre-order.

Lots of changes this year. Austin, Texas was awesome last weekend. Big thanks to everyone who came out to ride.

Peace,
Ed

Elaborate... I'm curious....

If you read Ed's latest update on the Sick Child site, he says...

We are well into 2011 right now and I plan on doing things a bit differently this year. I am not going to go into all of the details and reasons right now. I am going to save that for a manifesto in which I will outline my intentions with Sick Child. Things are going to get interesting.

Sick Child for life

Best riding frame I've ever had. Geometry on my instrumental is near perfect.

Ha! Here I am thinking "manifesto" is a new frame coming out.... a lil too anxious I am.

Heh, that actually would make a good name for a frame... :)

Just for info:

I completely skipped over Sick Child for one reason alone; I want brakes as an option. That is honestly the only reason I skipped over the frames.

With all due respect Ed(and I do respect ya, Ed), youre probably losing sales, and some die hard Sick Child followers, by not at least offering brake mounts as an option. Ive been seeing more people floatin around the lots with rear brakes again lately. Brakes arent dead, for some, they just offer another level of fun.

Heres some truth...
Recently, a friend wanted to play with rear brakes. He loved his Instrumental frame, but had to sell it to get another frame with mounts since you no longer offer that option. Point being, you lost a customer who really loves your product. If you still offered mounts, he more than likely wouldve bought another Sick Child frame. Just sayin. ;)

RIDE ON!
