FURTHER INFORMATION

Just follow the signs to the Kunstmuseum (Museum of Art) and in front of the main entrance there's a large tiled space, partially roofed and well lit in the evening. Opening times and more info about the museum can be found here: http://kunstmuseum.bonn.de

The floor is pretty smooth and clean, consisting of large flat tiles made from some white rock stuff with just (imho) the right amount of grip - ideal for rolling and spinning tricks. Most of the times, there are only few people - mostly visitors to the nearby museums - around, so it's easy to ride without much distraction.
As soon as the museum closes, you're pretty much alone there with only very few people passing through.

Con's: Next to the spot there is an open-air concert stage that is in use quite often during the summer months, weekdays as well as weekends. When theres a concert going on, lots of people walking around and staring make riding pretty much impossible. Also, though there is a roof over part of the spot, wind can spray rain and whatever in pretty much every corner, making it hard to ride here during wet weather. The parking lots around the museums are very expensive and often pretty cramped - get here by subway or bike if possible! There are toilets in the museum which can be used if needed, but don't forget to bring your drinks, the museum's restaurant is again really expensive and riders aren't the most welcomed guest around there.

As far as local riders are concerned, i have last ridden there around 1999/2000. Back then, most frequent locals included Roman Scheid and MC Rene. We had occasional visits from Cologne riders and the (back then) Koblenz riders Frank Lucas, Thomas Amann, etc. as well as internationals stopping by. I cant tell if and how this has changed in the years since then, but will check during summer and update accordingly.
