Cross-Hand Steamroller |
Get Flash to see this player. DESCRIPTION Cross handed steams are like kicking a soccer ball with your left foot if your right foot dominant. It just takes practice and you will get it eventually. It's easiest to practice this trick by stepping into it. I would also recommend that you have regular steams in a circle dialed before you go crosshanded. The main point is this trick will feel very awkward at first. You have to train your opposite hands to be comfortable holding the seat and the opposite grip. Try to focus on just doing the exact same motions and body placement as on the regular handed steams. Focus on the basics and you'll get it. To get in, go into a regular steamroller, then put both feet on the front pegs. Take your hand off the grip and switch hands holding the seat. Then grab the opposite grip with your other hand. You can switch without putting your other foot down, but I recommend this way until you get faster at switching hands which will just come with time and practice. To get out, just switch back to normal really quick and ride out however you want! Once you get this trick, it will open a multitude of front wheel switching/jumping doors!
