Description:

Peg wheelies should be one of the first tricks you learn with one tire off the ground.  They are a lot easier than the traditional manual.  Just practice anytime you can, whether it's just cruising around or actually practicing.  The faster you go, the easier it seems to keep this trick going when you're first learning it.

Start by putting your comfy foot on the back peg.  Then put all of your weight on the that foot and lean back while pulling the front end up.  You will pull too much or too less at first.  The main thing is your wanna get the front end up, hit the balance point and hold it there as quickly as possible.  This just takes practice and more practice.  Once you get it for a few feet, you'll notice that to keep the front end up, you'll need to shift you body side to side and pull forward or back on the bars as well as steer the bars in the air sometimes.  It took me about 6 months of rolling this trick everyday to get really consistant for long lengths.

Once you feel comfortable with one foot, try switching feet or putting both feet on and taking a hand off the bars.  There are lots of variations, even on the pedal!  So have fun with it!
