I'm there for sure, had so much fun last year! Driving to Indianapolis for a day was a little insane from Canada, but so worth it, this year is looking up.

I wanted to throw out there that if you want to compete in the Straight outta indy amature contest. If you go to midwest-flat.com you can register online half off and pay at the door.
Also If you don't want to compete but just have a good time and watch. most of the rink will still be open to ride. And once the contest ends it will go to jam format for the remainder of the time

This was a great place to have a jam, and it's going to make a great contest!
The spot is real good, and fun to ride at.
**Andy Cooper was killing it at last years jam!

jake-
is there anyway to get a fund going that day to help dane pay for his medical bills?
i know they have to be pretty expensive?
??
maybe just a fund bucket with a donation sign on it for dane?
i know it is a ways off, but anything would truly help out.............
i guess sorta like we all did for jimmy levan (your best bud!!! lol) here!!!
take care-

I couldn't help but notice that the contest is the first day and the jam the second. Wouldn't it make more sense to make the jam the first day and the contest the second. You know... to give people a chance to warm up to the floor before competing on it?

Originally the idea was for the contest was to follow the jam, althrough schedule issues changed the original dates and times. There will still be plenty of time to warm up and time to try to adapt to the surface.
When it comes to Tim's question of medical donations for Dane That should't be a problem. I see no reason why donations couldn't be made at the event.

jake-
that would be awesome if you could do this..........
it would be giving back to a rider in need , that has given all of us so much to look forward to , and so much inspiration year after year!!!!!
WOULD ANYONE HAVE A PROBLEM DROPPING A DOLLAR OR $2 INTO A BUCKET FOR JAKE TO GIVE TO DANE TO HELP PAY FOR HIS MEDICAL EXPENSES
