Bar flips

Will someone please explain this or post a vid. I keep coming across all these trick names that I don't know what they are, very annoying.

Explain what? There are hundreds if not thousands of barflip variations between all the different tricks in flatland.

WHAT is a bar flip? you've got to keep in mind everything I know about flatland came from this forum. I've only been around other riders twice, And I met them on here as well.

hey, james- a barflip is any trick where you "flip" the bars 180 degrees or 360 degrees and so on. like a barflip steamroller is do a regular steamroller then jump up and twist your bars around half way (180)- a 180 barflip steamroller. i wont respond like a jack-off cuz you say you're new.

I wouldn't say "new", i've been here well over a year now, this is just the only exposure to flat i've got 99% of the time.

A bar flip is where, while in the middle of a trick you bust out the allen wrenches and un bolt your bars from your stem, quickly 'flip' the bars upside down;  Then bolt it back to your stem and follow through and pull the trick.
