Keith the video is kicking.
I still haven't gotten a place together for an indoor thing but I will be putting more stuff together this year like jams and BBQ's for people who are interested.

It looks like right now though and I know there may be some groaning in the audience, LOL, but I've been contacted by Asbury (yes that Asbury) and they want to do a big BMX weekend in October. If things go as planned there will be  a street comp again in the Casino but this time done by NJ locals not red bull...anyway...

I want to do a good flat event there finally and I am thinking that if it's early October the weather will be nice enough to accommodate us.
So since we all know how bad Asbury can suck if we don't have a good place to ride, I'm looking for some people to take a cruise with me to Asbury and scout a good location near the stone pony, wonder bar, carousel area to do a jam-contest. Since this will be officially put on by Madison Marquette who runs the whole are we will be able to get the real deal going, roped off area, PA for music, etc. So I need a couple helpers who are willing to make this happen with me.
We're looking at doing a BMX weekend in Asbury and I want to finally get this done...right.
Peace from BMXNJ

I'm meeting up with the Brick VFW on possibly getting this spot for a couple events.

I lied about quitting.
I don't even know why I am entering expert.
It's going to be weird.
I'm just going to wing it.
I'll do a f*cking bunnyhop. Boom.

You'll do fine. Contest is just a contest. It's good to get out and ride with other people like that from other parts of the country - world. Gets you more pumped up to ride...ahh, I remember my time doing that, ya know it seemed like just yesterday we would load up the...
BRETT SHUT UP!!

Oh, I checked that pavilion tonight. The vet who runs the Brick VFW there used to ride way bitd. The area is pretty much perfect, grippy, smooth concrete. Just needs to blown off the day of the event. (and....they have blowers to get it done!) There is an area to grill, for the older guys we can do beer there. We could turn it into a big flat party there this summer and then knock out NJ's first real flatland contest around the same time as the 9-11 jam last year.
Price for the pavilion, $350, I just need to work out insurance.
Right now it looks like I will be picking a date in July for this.
What days do I not want to intrude on?
Peace from BMXNJ

Yeah Louis, just enjoy the ride bro.
You wont be the only one wondering WHY you entered a certain class.
People sign up for classes they dont think they should be in all the time.
Seems like they use it as a motivational thing to push themselves to ride harder and progress.
Youve made a lot of progress, and for what its worth, I think expert class is where u belong.
Have fun with it!

Brett, dude thats kool!
bmxnj hookin it up!
Just set a date and they will come...just as long as its not the same weekend as the AMFLATCIRCUIT/Tuner Evolution comp(in York,PA)...oh, and not 4th of July either(although that could be a kool party).
Will the concession stand be open too?
