Ticos Jam 3 Report + Photos
« on: February 27, 2006, 11:30:51 PM »
Last Sunday the long-awaited Ticos Jam took place in the beautiful Costa Rica. The event fulfilled what was expected: good riders, good prizes, and a perfect atmosphere to ride. Luis Elías wrote an article that describes all what happened there. Photos are available, too.

We have even more news from Costa Rica: a new clothing company was born in Costa Rica: CLETAS BMX WEAR. It is a company owned by two riders, Michael Meza and Leonardo Ramírez, who want to make special clothing dedicated to the whole BMX world. The t-shirts cost only $8 plus shipping. They have simple designs and they keep you cool in those hot BMX sessions. You can order yours by contacting these guys: Michael Meza (mikebmx_cr@hotmail.com), Leonardo Ramírez (leojesus340@hotmail.com).

The Tico Jam was a GREAT time! I went with Manuel Prado, Scott Powell and Bobby Carter. The riders in Costa Rica are amazing both as riders and people. I made a lot of new friends there and finally met a lot of people I have known only through email. Besides having a better contest venue than any event I have ever been to they also had great weather. I will definitely be going back next year. Bobby, Manuel, Scott and I went from the jam to a little beach village on the Pacific coast named Montezuma. We stayed there for several days to just vacation and relax. Snorkeling, Zip Line Canopy tours in the jungle, topless women, great beachs and surf, etc. I think next year I will stay a month :)

Yo Pat, Mutt wants to go to Guanacaste, too. He's planning to stay at home (hope he's not gay lol, just kidding Mutt ;D) for a couple of days cuz he wants to see topless chicks at the beach hahaha. However, we need to make some arrangements cuz I'll start teaching Spanish to foreign people in May so Mutt, let me know the days you're coming.

Luis, you are in for quite an experience if Mutt stays with you :)

There were a LOT of topless girls in Montezuma!

Where are you teaching Spanish at? I am studying my Spanish a couple of hours every day. When I come back next year for Tico Jam 4 we will only speak Spanish. At least I hope I learn enough by them.

Be sue to tell Tico Martti hello!

heya elias im coming to costa rica on june 10th
and have the teaching english gig til july 25th.
so ill probably stay at your place like july 26th thru
august 7th or 8th..ill know my flight arrangements
very soon as i going to sort them out soon.

pat you really need to not talk about me like that
and im not as bad as people say i am. people tend
to make up stories about me like i am like some urban
flatland myth or something like that. people might get
the wrong idea about me if someone of your statue
says such things so yeah i am a little concern and please

I'll be teaching Spanish at a new institute called Spanish Rica here in Nicoya ;D...check out the website: www.spanishrica.com
If you want I can give you online classes for free  by using any kind of messenger. Yeah, it's a new strategy I want to develop; I've leraned a LOT through the Internet, chatting with friends, watching porno lol, just kidding.  ^_^. My e-mails are:

eliasbiker@hotmail.com (this is the one I always use)
eliasbiker@aol.com
eliasbiker@yahoo.es

I get online every night;the only thing you need is a microphone for interaction.

By the way, who's Tico Martti? Is it a guy whose nick name is MALETA? A guy with a green Quamen and no chain?
