Flatware fork top bolt gap
« on: February 21, 2022, 05:41:54 AM »
Picked up a nice flatware 0 offset fork.  The steerer was cut down and the odyssey compression cap threads in but the shoulder on the cap limits insertion to leave about a 4.5mm gap.   I understand that 2.5-3mm is optimal.  Are there other cap options that will work with the odyssey thread?  Or for safety just use a star nut cap? I suppose in order to recess the shoulder on the top bolt I can Dremmel a bit of the tread in the fork, but that is a bit extreme.

I dont understand what your getting at .If you want a fork bolt that is fully threaded look at the standard bolt ,Any bolt with a m24 thread will work
