Strange website (fake)
« on: September 17, 2021, 12:27:54 PM »
Hello,
during a websearch I found this site:
https://www.paybanks.ga/products.aspx?cid=5&cname=flatland+stem
It is really strange not so say funny. They offer a lot of (partly very rare) stems for example and all of them cost +- 70 $. And they offer complete bikes from very low level to pro level bikes. All of them cost around 70 $... That must be a fake site for sure. It is also located in Gabon, Africa. I am pretty sure there is no shop there offering these products. The most surprising thing for me is: If I would like to rip off people, I would try to sell smart phones or something like that, but not flatland parts! Reall strange...
What do you think?

This page looks like someone (who rides or is interested in bikes?) is learning how to write code or using it for automation testing or something?

I'm enrolled in a class currently and our group projects aren't too far off this website.

Also, because flatland is so niche even a fake website result could appear under a google search query  (since what you are looking for isn't a popular/common search item)

not 100% on this but it looks too fishy to even attempt being real. theres a whole page of "bicycles" that cost $70 lol

That's an interesting idea! Maybe someone is learning code... At least he/she must be interested in bikes somehow. Whatever...
