Super skinny pegs
« on: December 19, 2020, 05:13:16 PM »
Is anyone running the 34 mm AKA 1.33 inches diameter pegs?
I’m curious about why and feedbacks before I jump into getting those...
I have my eyes in the D.O.M v2 pegs, the quality and look are awesome.

I went from a 1.5" to a smaller diameter Heresy peg like 1.3 or 1.4" and didn't like the smaller diameter. you may not notice the difference tho

I had a set of D.O.M pegs and couldn't get on with them, just too thin and hurt my feet after a while.

Also had to modify a socket as my standard one would not fit inside the hole of the peg.

I ride the smaller diameter pegs (DOM's) for a weird reason. I found that when I rode bigger (38mm) I would get bad acchilles tendonitits. When I switched to the DOM pegs it doesn't happen nearly as often.

KHE Killah was correct when saying a standard socket doesnt fit inside too nicely. However, the Odyysey travel tool socket fits perfectly. I can also see why he was saying that it hurt his feet. Since the ends aren't super rounded off pivoting is a bit painful there. However, I 3D printed some end caps that really helps me there.

anytime dude!.
I have both the V1 and the V2... The v2 are definitely a little more rounded on the end than the v1s. FWIW, I love the pegs. Even more so with my homemade peg ends on them.
