I absolutely love my utopia with 20" TT, but still interested in trying something a little longer like maybe 20.25-20.5".

So have any of the specs for these new frames been mentioned yet?

I want that purple one pretty badly! I've been riding a 20" Utopia for a bit now and loving it.  I was always afraid of the tiny dropout. But, I've never had any issues with it. Might help, though, that I ride a smaller diameter peg (DOMs). Hopefully the specs are the same as previous versions.

Nice. I'm gonna give the 20.5" a go. Kinda disappointed they made the rear end a little shorter then last years. I wonder what seat tube angle will be or if they stuck with 71.5 like last year. I'm excited.

Ive been extra excited about the Utopia hybrid frame coming out so have been checking the WTP website and flatlandfuel daily hoping to see them suddenly available. Started to get inpatient so I tried emailing WTP through their website to ask them when it would become available and they only told me to check with retailers. So I emailed Pat at flatlandfuel.

This may already be common knowledge but apparently bike frame production in Taiwan is very backed up due to the covid bike boom. He says that they keep pushing the date back and right now it seems that it won't be until early summer at best or possibly not until late fall.

Hopefully soon though as I'm eagerly awaiting. Got the money already saved up and set aside.

The Asian market always gets hold of the first production, I just checked a Japanese shop and they have had them for a month already. I also seen that @julienbmx is already riding a production frame.

Ok that makes sense and would explain the response I got from WTP as well. Now just to be patient like a good boy...

Oh so should be quite soon then that they are worldwide. We don't yet have specs on the black flatland version tho do we?

Are you asking about the the version with the bent down tube? I think they are calling that one just "Utopia" whereas the longer one with straight tubes is called the "Utopia hybrid"? Not sure.

From what Pat was telling me, it may still be awhile before flatlandfuel gets their stock unfortunately  (and I assume it's likely the same with most other US based shops, not sure about other parts of the world). Maybe summer, maybe even late fall 😢 Here's hoping sooner! I hope you're right that it'll be quite soon.
