New Frames...meh
« on: July 14, 2019, 07:58:48 AM »
Is it just me or are the new flatland frames uninspiring? I'm really not digging the 1985 race inspired look. I just don't understand how a lower top tube and raised bottom tube all of sudden was no longer an asset. I enjoyed the character of my flatland frames. Looking for a new frame but totally bummed with what I see. Currently trying to source a Strowler frame at this point.  Any leads?

You might want to look into Viki's new signature frame from Ares:

Thanks for sharing. Not a big fan of the top tube bend. I really like buttom tube bend instead.

Not sure where you could get a strowler at the moment. I will ask my source at Hoffman to see if he has any ideas or if a new batch will be coming out.

Don't mind it but I really like the bend in the bottom tube. I think I'm leaning towards a WE Bicycles Agenda. AND if I go that route I just might get them to do me a double top tube version of it. THAT would nail everything I like.
