Hutchinson Greenville tires
« on: June 29, 2019, 03:55:21 PM »
I finally picked up some Hutchinson Greenville tires. These looked cool and the price is good.
Semi slick design, 66 tpi, reflex stripe, 6.5bar max, close to 100psi and 1.75".

Tire manufacturers have to reach a consensus on how they measure tires.

These are labeled 1.75" but after inflated they are 55mm wide, that's equivalent to many 2.2 and 2.3 tires! (For comparison, a 1.75" Frequency G is 45mm wide)

That means it won't even fit my Odyssey fork or Autum Blitz frame...

Not only is it 1cm wider, it's also 1cm taller.

As you can see here, it touches the fork arms and steerer tube....

Good looking tire, shame on the size problem.

great info good to know, seems like a good tire profile for rolling, spinning tricks. Amazon has the weight listed @ 14 oz
