Just need to get a brake mount kit (the removable gyro tabs, cable guides, brake mount posts, etc) plus probably new upper and lower gyro cables too. Money is low so I'm gonna have to ride without the back brake for a couple weeks.

Nice build! very classy all black you pulled off there. you at least have a front brake for lots of front wheel trickery still. Im sure it rides very comfortably. Haven't quite got up to 20" TT--am on the 19.75 strowler myself but quite like the longer size compared to the shorter frames of the past.

The mostly all black look is mostly just coincidence, most of my parts are an accumulation over a long period of time and I never really paid much attention to color of each part along the way. The black does fit me though, I'm not usually a flashy color kind of person.

I added the weight of my bike to the original post as indicated by my bathroom scale. Probably nobody cares, the reason I added it is for my own record for future reference.

I've never been too concerned with the weight of my bike, but i noticed this is my lightest bike to date. Previous bikes have usually been in the 28-32 lb range. For example 2 bikes ago (18 years ago) I was ridding an s&m sabbath frame, that thing was a tank and it weighed over 30 lbs built up if my memory serves me correctly.

Liking it even more and more as I ride each day. Today I finally found the perfect seat height/position so that things feel really comfortable now. I even had a pretty good session today. I'm happy.

Today I am expecting delivery of a brake mount kit from overseas, and some misc brake related things (new cables and such) + new tires from flatlandfuel. I don't really need the rear brake anymore but I'd rather just have it and not use it much for now. I do plan to try decades again (last one I did was almost 20 years ago) and it might help to have the ability to feather brake while I'm trying to relearn pedal to pedal time machine. Eventually I'd like to start pedaling too, but that's a long ways off I think.

It's kind of embarrassing how excited I get when I order new parts. Had trouble falling asleep last night from anticipation and I probably checked the tracking 52 times since everything shipped, lol.

That sounds great! I can imagine how you feel about the upcoming parcel  :)
Timemachines on the pedals are serious stuff! I never learned such tricks and have much respect for this. Good luck for relearning them!

Went out today and started stepping up to the pedal during a time machine again.. Got a couple attempts on video so I can analyze what I'm doing. Might upload and share it but have to figure out how to edit/upload/youtube all that crap, never done so before.

If I do upload videos and make a thread, where should I do so? In general flatland forum or in media or what?

Eh, the video isn't very good so I'll just put it here:

Too bad I didn't land it but for now I'm concentrating on just balancing it. Soon I'll start spinning it tighter/faster and eventually get the courage to put my other foot over the head tube and onto the other pedal.

Cool! It looks like you go into the right direction. Can you do a good normal timemachine on the peg?

Yes, I can do normal time machine on the peg pretty good. But I'm still timid when on the pedal so I don't pull it into a tight fast spin... not yet, anyways. Getting closer each day.
