Fork mounts cut off - any help?

Good morning, all. I just picked up an Ares aplus complete. Problem is, the previous owner cut off the mounts off the forks. Not the entire mount, just the smooth portion where the arms slide on to. Any solutions minus getting a new fork?

I don't think so, new forks would be the best. The brake mount goes into the fork so you'd have to cut that and weld a new mount.
Buy new forks

New fork is by far the easiest option.
Instead of welding a new mount, I'd try to drill a hole to the rest of the existing mounts. Then tap a thread and buy some removable mounts.

Thanks for the advice. I've replaced them with a fork from an old dk signal and it feels okay so fsr. I may juat end doing what VojTECH spoke of and drill out the forks.
