Madera was " suppose " to be affordable, it prices right behind Profile..not that their parts arwnt top notch ,but damn.. kids cant fork out 500 for a hub..

This hub probably uses the standard KHE internals. Price should be on par with similar freecoasters.

i remember when madera cranks were just basic 180 mm cranks with dual drive bolts nothing fancy only in black paint and cost like 89 bucks

Ok so this is definitely using profile internals, NOT Khe internals, curious which step they cut out of the process to get the price down. perhaps less machining on the hub shell is what I suspect. Maybe less axle or slack options

the complete wheel looks like it uses an envy rim on the back, which would be very light! good for flat, not for the street guys tho
