I was checking out Easterns 2017 catalog and found these two frames:


The Repeater, very well priced at $199.94 on there site.
Comes in 19.69" TT.

The other frame is the Thick Rhonda. Comes in 19.69" TT. Not on the website yet.

The super light frames from a few years ago didn't hold up great so these new ones are a bit heavier.

Also, it doesn't mention the exact weight of the 19.69" size... it could be the weigt of longer model.

The frames look good for Eastern to make a comeback. especially at that price point. Good flat geo on the first frame but the weight is about a pound more than desired, however at that price point it's to be expected.

Thing is tho, they have stiff competition with IGI at that pricepoint. Only thing that would set Eastern above is if they were somehow more durable and the IGI's began breaking (unlikely due to Eastern's tarnished reputation). Also the different top tube lengths. Eastern is a little longer which is the way trend is going.
