Colony - Sweet Tooth
« on: February 22, 2017, 06:21:57 PM »
Figured I'd share my latest build with you all. So far I'm loving it... I'm an old schooler (rode a lot from mid/late 80's-92) that took 23 or so years off and have been back into riding (almost daily) for the last three or so years again. If only I could get back those lost years!!

Frame: 2016 Colony - Sweet Tooth 19.8"
Forks: S&M - Fastpitch
Brake: Odyssey - Evo-II
Lever - Odyssey - monolever (medium)
Bars - S&M - Intrikat 9"
Stem: Odyssey - Lincoln 38mm
Grips - Cult - AK. They're then wrapped with tennis racquet handle grip/wrap.
Headset - Odyssey
BB - Colony (came with frame)
Cranks - Profile 160mm
Pedals - Odyssey - Twisted
Chain - Shadow - Interlock
Sprocket - Odyssey 25T
Front Wheel - Odyssey Anti-gram laced to Hazard Lite
Back Wheel - Odyssey Clutch laced to Hazard Lite
Front Tire - Odyssey - Frequency G K-Lyte Kevlar (1.85)
Rear Tire - Ares - A-Class Lite Kevlar (1.75)
pegs - Ares - Ucchie
Seat Post - S&M - Long Johnson
Seat - Odyssey - Mike Aitken Pivotal

For those that like to see relics here is my old master (hodge podge of GT, Haro, Peregrine parts...)

Both are nice! What kind of tricks do you do with the Haro Master? I mean with a back brake only? Intersting...

Thanks DaddyCool!

Oh, the Haro is not something I ride any more. I did for the first few months when I finally got back into riding again though. The front brake (old, white Diacompe Nippon) was off at the time of that picture. I had put it on my son's 18" bike (no 990's). It's currently installed again and back to hanging on my wall collecting dust. I go through moments where I think about selling it to somebody that might want an old relic to cherrypick on! I believe I bought it in '91 and it may have been a prototype (though it has a serial# so maybe not). Been so long I don't recall. Bought off a dude in socal (San Diego..where I grew up) that used to ride for Haro.

Very nice Colony Timmer74. You're in the modern era with a 19+ frame and 9" bars!

oh man, that's insane looking Bryan! I love the invisible chain too. I'd be too afraid to ride it and scratch it up...

Thanks Metal! I'm really digging this bike.

Yeah I couldn't get the chain to work with my gear ratio/dropouts (bike companies can't design) so I have to switch sprockets and try the chain again
