Flamon bars
« on: April 07, 2016, 03:21:26 PM »
I spotted these new 6-piece bars from Flamon (Japan).
These are samples at 5.8" tall....
It looks like Takahiro Ikeda will be riding these.

It is interesting that there are still low handlebars on the market. This one looks a little bit like some old DNA handlebar, doesn't it?

ya, somewhat similar shape to the old DNA bars.

I don't know how popular a low bar will be, maybe in Japan there is a market since there are a lot of young kids riding.

I could see a market for this in the States. Not everyone wants 10" bars, and I prefer a low crossbar.

I really like low bars, I imagine the Japanese likes them since many of them are not tall,
i'm also not tall

I'm not from the states, but if I were, I would definitely try to get the low bars trend back.

I proudly run 6.125" odyssey bar-mitzvah bars.
